An angular, white, fully calcined flint dashing spar manufactured in France from a raw blue flint cobble. Heated to specific temperatures in a vertical kiln and then cooled it creates a predominantly white aggregate with inclusions of pink, grey and black. ‘Iron staining’ is a completely natural occurrence that can affect some stones when exposed to the environment. Products that may contain iron traces are indicated in the product description. Whilst iron staining can cosmetically change and alter the appearance of affected areas it has no detrimental effect on the render itself.
